My friend Mary has decided to transition to natural hair & I'm excited for her. I give kudos to anyone who made/makes the decision to go natural on their own. I hate when women decide to go natural because they want "curly" hair-- sorry but all naturals don't have loose curls. Curl patterns are different and are often in combos. I don't really follow the curl pattern/type list simply because I don't get it lol. *at least I'm keeping it real* But I've seen women who've said they have 3a/3b mixed in the front with a 4a in the middle and blah blah blah & all of that sounds like madness to me!
Anyways, so my girl Mary brought up curl patterns and told me that she thought it was interesting. My response was "That ish drives me crazy!" I've never been able to classify my curls bc the more my hair grows the more the curls change.
How do you feel about the hair type/curl pattern classifications? Are they accurate?

Exactly! I won't lie I got caught up in it for a while but I let that go, thank GOD.
