I've missed you so much

Well it's been a great run with my twist, but I'm happy to have my real hair back! I'll miss waking up and running out w/o having to do a thing to my hair; however it was about that time. I did research about how long braided extensions should be kept in and most sites said about 6-8 weeks...I'm sorry but I just can't go that far. The braids around my edges were filled with hair gunk and my hair started to look a little old. So, I decided that today was the day for these bad boys to come out. It took about 2 hours to take them out :) I am so HAPPY -insert big smile here-

There wasn't much shedding as I expected which is a good thing. My hair has grown & my curls were super poppin! The photos that I've added are of my hair with no product. I soo wish I had a better camera but ah well. Anyhoo, I plan to do a lot more protective styling for this fall. I can't wait for cooler weather b/c I'll be rocking hats & two strand twist :)

Back to my hair... after a co-wash with some Aussie Moist condish, a good scrub with Pert's shampoo, a condish/detangling session & finally a deep condish.
