Bantu Knots

I know I said that I was excited about the length that was due to 2 braid-outs BUT I had to wash my hair! My hair was really flaky from the Eco Styler gel. I tried to cover it up with brown gel but it wasn't working ;-(

I spent a total of 30mins deep condish'n and an additional 30 trying to figure out what I should do w/this stuff...So I decided to try a bantu knot out (is that what it's called?) I started on semi-damp hair with twist & then I twisted the twist around and around. After twisting I secured the knot with a tiny black rubber band. This is my first try so I hoping for nice results. This style took about one hour to complete. I could have been done sooner, but my sister was cracking me up!!  Anyhoo, if all fails I plan on slapping it in a puff. Since I have work tomorrow I won't be able to play with my hair much.

For the bantu knot-out; I used small black rubber bands, HE none of your frizzness & some olive oil hair polisher stuff...Hair will be tied w/a slik scarf! Results in the morn!

I can't wait to try it, it usually turns out so cute for everyone else.
